Over half a dozen handy handbook translations published!

Over the last months we've added over half a dozen newly translated handbooks to the relevant overview pages for The Conspiracy Theory Handbook, The Debunking Handbook 2020 and The COVID-19 Vaccine Communication Handbook. As most of these additions will most likely have flown under the radar, we'll highlight these handy resources to fight misinformation in this blog post. Some translations were created with the help of translators from the Skeptical Science volunteers' network while others were created independently. What ties these handbooks and their translations together is, that Skeptical Science founder John Cook has been involved with the creation of all of them, that Wendy Cook created the graphic designs, and that I'm coordinating the translations.

Here is the list of newly added translations by publication date:

The Croatian translation of The Conspiracy Theory Handbook was created by Nikola Biliškov and Iva Kurtovi? and published on August 3, 2021.

Shortly afterwards, Nikola Biliškov and Iva Kurtovi? also finished their translation of The COVID-19 Vaccine Communication Handbook into Croatian which was published on August 8, 2021.

The Portuguese translation of The COVID-19 Vaccine Communication Handbook was created by members from our translator team in Brazil, namely Aldo Fernandes, Claudia Groposo, Dayane Machado, Luciano Marquetto, Minéya Fantim and Rafael Pegoraro. It was publised on August 26, 2021.

In parallel to creating the Dutch translations for the Cranky Uncle game, Nienke de Haan also translated The Debunking Handbook 2020 into Dutch. It was published on November 7, 2021 as the 12th translations of this handy to have handbook.

The Greek translation of The COVID-19 Vaccine Communication Handbook was created by Dimitris Mavros and Konstantinos Armaos. It was publised on November 14, 2021.

The Polish translation of The COVID-19 Vaccine Communication Handbook was created by Beata Kusmider and Mateusz Kozak and published on December 7, 2021.
