Last day to vote for Climate Change Communicator of the Year
Posted on 15 April 2011 by John Cook
Today is the last day to vote for the George Mason University Climate Change Communicator of the Year. If you haven't voted yet, be sure to exercise your democratic right by voting for an individual and organisation. Skeptical Science is nominated in the organisation category. This is recognition of the SkS community effort which has employed every aspect of "new media" to communicate climate science - iPhone apps, Twitter-bots, Firefox Add-ons, tweetable rebuttals of climate myths, Android apps, multiple-level explanations of the science and high-rez graphics used by a number of other climate communicators (including NOAA and the U.S. Navy). All of this is only possible because of the passion and enthusiasm of the SkS community which is worthy of recognition, IMHO.
So don't forget to vote before the day is out and tell others who might be interested :-)
