UWA Climatecasts now on iTunes
Posted on 14 March 2011 by Stephan Lewandowsky
Readers of this blog will be aware of the brief three-minute podcasts produced by various academics at the University of Western Australia (UWA) which are broadcast on an approximately fortnightly schedule on our local radio station, RTR FM 92.1.
The members of the UWA Climate Science group have been responsible for a number of public events around the country, including Naomi Oreskes' recent national tour.
Some readers will also know that, time permitting, those podcasts are often made available here for 24-48 hours ahead of going to air for "blog review". This process has always improved the final product and I thank all those who have contributed their comments over the past year.
It gives me great pleasure to inform you that this series of podcasts is now available on iTunes (or search for "Climate Podcasts from the University of Western Australia" in the iTunes store). Alternatively, you can subscribe to the stream via feedburner.
We endeavour to keep up our (somewhat irregular) production schedule for the foreseeable future, and I intend to continue seeking readers' pre-broadcast input wherever possible.
About UWA
The University of Western Australia belongs to the "Group of 8" of Australia's leading research universities. The University has been very supportive of the activities of the Climate Science group, and we will be announcing another UWA-sponsored initiative that should be of interest to readers in the near future.
