Emerging features of climate change
The known range of knock-on effects commensurate with a warming climate continues to expand. In the Arctic, the transport of ice may result in secondary features including redistributed contaminants finding their way to other countries. DeRepentigny and others plot two possible outcomes as the 21st century progresses, in Increased Transnational Sea Ice Transport Between Neighboring Arctic States in the 21st Century, an open access paper.
